You should know that all used cars from Germany have left hand steering. You won’t find any RHD vehicles on the German market.

Below you can find examples for shipping rates from Germany to some African ports.

Please note that transport insurance is not included in this rates!

*Shipments to Nigeria and Cameroon need to have a CTN - Cargo Tracking Note.

*All cargo to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) should hold a valid certificate of inspection from BIVAC / BV and a valid FERI visa number prior to shipment!
August 2010: A new additional Congo River Surcharge: 100 Euro per car and 150 Euro per van! Ask us for the newsest price!

*Shipments to Senegal need to be accompanied by a waiver, a cargo tracking note.

*Goods for Angola need to be inspected - It is called pre-shipment inspection. Buyer must apply for a PIP number in Angola first (Bureau Veritas, Cotecna, SGS). No cars older than three (3) years old! No trucks older than five (5) years old! Luanda only, no ships to Lobito right now (October 2010)

* From 1st August 2010 all cars shipped to Guinea need to have a CTN document (Cargo Tracking Note). 

“High value” surcharge for shipping new and nearly new cars (additional to the normal shipping rate):
 

For a passenger car: 200 Euro

For a small van size vehicle (SUV): 250 Euro
